Performance

The RE505X performs best when placed halfway between your router and the area with weak signal. While it advertises AX1500 wireless speeds, like all wireless repeaters, real-world throughput is lower because the extender must receive and retransmit data. Users commonly observe around 250–500 Mbps over the 5 GHz band depending on placement, interference, and router capability.
