Description

Long Reach PoE (Extend Mode)

A built-in DIP switch enables Extend Mode, allowing Ports 1–8 to transmit power and data up to 250 metres over a Cat5e/Cat6 cable.

Normal Mode:
- Up to 100 m at Gigabit speeds
Extend Mode:
- Up to 250 m
- Data speed reduced to 10 Mbps, which is ideal for IP surveillance cameras.

DIP Switch Functions

The switch includes hardware switches for quick feature activation:

Extend Mode – Enables 250 m PoE transmission.
VLAN Mode – Isolates Ports 1–8 to reduce broadcast traffic and improve security between connected devices.
QoS Mode – Prioritizes video traffic for smoother surveillance streaming.
PoE Recovery – Automatically detects and restarts unresponsive PoE-powered devices such as IP cameras.
